Energy assessment and expert consulting

We uncover correlations from energy characteristics and operational data.

Thanks to increasingly cost-effective data collection methods, a growing number of data are becoming available, providing valuable insights and information. With the Ener-Aid expert platform, our users gain the ability to model, analyze, and evaluate complex energy or business processes. The system, while offering numerous built-in functionalities, is also open and programmable by users, thus enhancing user security and reducing vendor lock-in. One of our clients stated,
"I was amazed at how quickly and easily complex processes could be modeled. It was convincing to see how the correlations quickly emerged."
The Ener-Aid expert system is a cloud-based framework where users can create their own data input, processing, and visualization models. Built-in plugins and interface connections enable fast and flexible data aggregation and collection from databases or in real-time. Before evaluating data, users can create simple or complex data modeling flowcharts. Using the data modeling tool, the program can automatically recognize relationships between input and output sides, even in cases of large or numerous datasets. Analysis and evaluation can be performed with a wide range of options using a free wizard. Data visualization is supported through the program's built-in dashboard editor, allowing users to create unique dashboards or use predefined versions. Support for the deployment of metering data collection systems

We manage from one- to even thousands of meters, processing and handling the data stream from them

Ener-Aid Ltd. offers solutions capable of real-time data retrieval from thousands or even hundreds of thousands of meters. The collected measurement data is centralized, stored, processed, analyzed, and intervention is made for more efficient operation of the system with the appropriate hardware. The systems are capable of handling large amounts of data both at the user and device levels and are optimized for this purpose. The metering data collection program is a modular framework that allows real-time communication with over 300+ different manufacturer and distributor meters and smart meters in one or more directions (e.g., power and low-current devices, building automation, and HVAC systems). Ener-Aid systems have proven their ability in data collection scenarios with nationwide coverage and tens of thousands of measurement endpoints. The system supports pre-defined meters almost plug and play, and integration of new devices is easily achievable due to knowledge of available communication protocols in the system. Design and support for electric power schedule planning

Based on the pattern of electricity consumption, we predict your future power demand

With the electricity timetable planning program, users can conveniently build existing calculation methods at the data source and connection level using a graphical modeler. In addition to new model construction, there is the option to apply built-in modeling procedures. The program performs the necessary analyses, forecasts, and provides results to users in 15-minute or longer intervals based on the built model. During electricity timetable planning, users face numerous challenges because consumption data can come in different formats, resolutions, and from different sources, including various databases, spreadsheets, or real-time meters. Besides different formats, it's essential to meet challenges as forecast-affected data may need to be generated according to the modeling with minute-by-minute frequency in tabular or other editable formats. In the case of forecasting models, both the data sources and the factors affecting the model's results can continuously change in time and quantity. For example, newly discovered relationships during modeling can indicate how various variables affect future electricity consumption. Here, the forecasting model needs to handle not only weather data but also known industry-specific and future variables. The system dynamically manages factors affecting consumption, providing opportunities for refining predictions. With the system, users themselves become capable of refining, modifying, and correcting schedule data and handling new parameters to be discovered in the future. The forecasting model can handle thousands of variables and end-users.

Energy Efficiency Obligation Schemes in Europe consulting

We provide comprehensive services for those implementing energy efficiency projects.

Our consultancy services in the context of the Energy Efficiency Obligation Schemes in Europe (EEOS) provide a comprehensive approach for those who want to implement energy efficiency projects. The scheme is designed to enable businesses and residential users to get financial support for their investments to improve energy efficiency. By validating the project and respecting the principles of additionality and materiality, the energy savings achieved can be sold. The reason for the introduction of the scheme is Hungary's target of keeping final energy consumption below the 2005 level of 785 PJ by 2030. This requires energy savings of 0.8% per year and new savings of 7 PJ per year. The obligation scheme imposes specific energy saving obligations on electricity and natural gas traders and on those selling fuel for transport . The way the obligation is fulfilled can be through own investment or by accounting for energy savings achieved through energy efficiency measures and investments in other sectors and by other actors.

Our end-to-end service consists of four steps:

Preparation of an EEOS pre-audit: a preliminary assessment of the potential energy savings of the project and its eligibility for EEOS. Preparing an EEOS post-audit and certificate: determining the actual energy savings that can be achieved after the investment or action has been implemented. Energy savings verification: formal recognition and documentation of the savings achieved. Selling and accounting for certified energy savings: selling certified savings and providing a financial return to our customers. To ensure the successful implementation of the scheme, the verification of energy savings can only be carried out by qualified auditing organisations that meet the necessary professional standards and testing requirements. Our service is designed to assist in this complex process, from the initial project phase, through verification, to the financial sale of energy savings, ensuring maximum benefit for our clients.

Promoting resource allocation for energy development

We examine whether your projects can involve grants or other funding sources.

Once improvement projects have been co-designed and specified, we will explore ways to potentially reduce the financial burden of implementation and facilitate financeability. In this process, in addition to the project characteristics, the financial, R&D and HR indicators of the company, as well as its energy specificities, should be taken into account. This can then be used to assess the possibility of raising funds at a given point in time (or at a later point in time, with a realistic postponement of the project).

The possible source components:

  • Tenders and non-repayable grants
  • Loans and other financial engineering instruments
  • ESCO and investment funds
Guarantee products Naturally, with the involvement of our strategic partners, we are committed to supporting the relevant coordination and administrative processes for all projects, in order to ensure that these often complex and bureaucratic processes can be managed safely. During the planning process related to the tender resources, the project content is defined in cooperation between IT and our tender experts, which best facilitates the realisation of our partners' plans, while at the same time taking into account the tender constraints and expectations. We manage the contracting process once the tender is won and then follow through the whole implementation period. Based on the data provided by our partners, we submit reports and accounts, and support the transfer of any change requests to the funding authorities. We also prepare reports for the maintenance period after the closure of the project. For those complex projects where there is a need for project support in addition to grant funding, we can also provide project managers to support the technical implementation of the project.
